Stephen Milner is a photographer who is drawn to lives shared close to the water. While studying at the Savannah College of Art & Design, he focused a lot of his time photographing the Ogeechee River and its communities. His work has appeared in Oxford American, Juxtapoz, and Lenscratch.
Photographer Carson Sanders from Savannah, Georgia, curated our Instagram account. In addition to his own work, he works on the great magazine Aint-Bad, a bi-annual periodical the believes in the power of the photograph and acts to encourage and spread the work of talented artists through print and curated events.
Photographer Johnathon Kelso took over our Instagram account last week. For several years, Kelso has been documenting Sacred Harp singers and Primitive Baptist congregations throughout the region. His photographs provide a respectful look into the lives and settings of these people of faith.
